The Cyrus Eaton Foundation seeks to advance sustainable environments, social justice, cultural enrichment, and world peace.

Grant Considerations

Before applying for a grant, please note these criteria:

• We only consider applicants from Northeast Ohio; Pugwash, Nova Scotia; and the United States Pugwash Conferences Group.

• We only consider applications from nonprofit organizations  with  a section 501(c)(3) tax status or the Canadian equivalent.

• We typically fund organizations that are 

  • small or newly-established

  • innovative 

  • lacking support from larger funders

  • Organizations whose efforts fall into these categories:

    • sustainable environments

    • social justice

    • cultural enrichment

    • world peace
